Teach at a Summer Camp

Get the chance to work at a summer camp in the magnificent Swiss Alps.

This employer is looking to hire a TEFL teacher/ Activity Counsellor to join the summer camp team in Leysin, Switzerland from 24th June- 12th August 2018.

Our TEFL Teachers/Activity Counselors teach beginner to advanced level English for three hours every weekday morning. A variety of nationalities will be represented in the classroom and children vary in age and ability.

The TEFL teachers/Activity Counsellors are required to plan daily lessons and monitor students’ progress using effective techniques.

Other duties involve assisting in afternoon/evening creative, outdoor and sporting activities such as trekking, swimming, orienteering, arts and crafts, archery, drama, dance, horse riding, volleyball, tennis, football and basketball. Additional responsibilities include supervising during meal times and weekend excursions, participating in evening programmes and wake-up/lights-out duties.

Applicants must be TEFL qualified and have proven classroom teaching experience of at least 6 months and be native English speakers.  Due to Swiss visa restrictions, applicants must be EU nationals.  As we are working with children, a criminal background certification is also a mandatory requirement for this position
