Location: Downtown Tianjin, China

Position: English as a Foreign Language Teacher

Language required: English

Salary: £1000 – £1750 per month

Job type: Fulltime/Part-time

Hours: 30 hours per week (min 19 hours teaching)

Holiday: 12 days paid

Accommodation: free furnished accommodation, near the school or 2,500 RMB (roughly £300) (net) housing allowance per month if you would rather find your own accommodation.

Flight allowance: 6000 RMB (roughly £700) (net) received after 1 year working with us

Our client requires a group of highly educated English speakers for the fulfilling role of English as a Foreign Language Teacher in China. Our current vacancies are in Downtown Tianjin, a bustling costal city with quick transport links to Beijing. While no two postings are the same one thing is certain; they all centre around rewarding job of teaching young children. Our schools are a well-integrated part of the community, meaning Tianjin can easily become your home from home.

We understand that everyone has a different educational background and as such don’t ask for a specific degree, but rather as that applicants are educated to a minimum of Bachelor’s Degree standard or equivalent, with English as their native language. A degree in English or a teaching qualification is preferable, but not a necessity as we highly value relevant experience and enthusiasm. We do ask our applicants to hold a TEFL certificate, TESOL certificate, or equivalent. With worldwide providers, and the option to study online, these are accessible and affordable courses that provide you with the knowledge to teach English as a second language. These courses take next to no time; as little as 100 hours, which can easily be spread over as little as 1 month.

There is no requirement to be fluent in Mandarin, though we’re certain that you’ll pick up a few key phrases within the first week, as we help hundreds of English speakers make the move to China and can quickly connect you to those in the Tianjin area, so that you have a friendship group from the moment your plane touches down.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree
Native English speaker from USA,UK,Canada,Australia,New Zealand,Ireland, or South Africa
Internationally recognized TEFL/TESOL certification or other teaching equivalents
About 1 year teaching or teaching related experience
Passion for educating young learners and a keen interest in their development
Valid references non-criminal background and health certificate.
