This is dependent on which type of TEFL Org certification you wish to gain, for example, a 140 hour combined TEFL course (one of our Premier TEFL courses). The 20-hour weekend course will take two days over a weekend.
For the 120-hour online part of the course, it normally takes about 16 to 20 weeks to complete, however, you do have up to a full six months to complete your online learning. If you can spend a lot of time working through the online courses it is possible to complete the course with a month.
Certain countries request a BA degree for work visa purposes, but if you don’t hold a degree there are still plenty of TEFL opportunities out there.
Our approach
It’s hands on! During our TEFL Cardiff courses, our experienced trainers explain and demonstrate where appropriate, but we make sure our students get involved as much as possible. The best way to learn to TEFL is to TEFL, so look forward to lesson planning, games, and taking part in activities created by other people on the course.
You will create your very own lessons and have the chance to teach your peers. The course will enable you to fully understand how to adapt your lessons to suit different age groups and English levels.
