TEFL Org UK Director wins IoD Medium Businesses Director of the Year

Last night, Thursday 23rd March 2017, TEFL Org UK Director, Jennifer Mackenzie-Hallwood, was announced as IoD Scotland Medium Businesses Director of the Year.

Held at the Crowne Plaza in Glasgow, the Institute of Directors (IoD) Scotland Awards celebrate the best in business across nine key director categories and six regional categories. This year saw a record number of nominations received, with 15 directors being awarded.

Upon announcing Jennifer as winner of Medium Businesses Director of the Year, the judging panel said:

“Jennifer at TEFL Org UK has combined her personal skills, enthusiasm and talent to bring out the absolute best in her staff, achieving sustainable and socially-aware growth in a difficult market. Against challenging international circumstances she has built both the company and profitability.”

The award comes after a record-breaking year in 2016, which saw TEFL Org UK increase domestic and international course sales, a new Public Speaking course collaboration with China’s largest English speaking newspaper and a partnership with Scottish charity Mary’s Meals.

Looking forward to 2017, TEFL Org UK continues in its mission to inspire more people across the globe to take the final step to having a life-enhancing, fun-filled, exciting and challenging experience that teaching English as a foreign language offers.
