TEFL Org UK is delighted to announce that Managing Director Jennifer Mackenzie has been shortlisted for awards at the UK Institute of Director (IoD) Awards and the Scottish Women Awards.
Ms Mackenzie has been shortlisted as SME Company Director of the Year in the IoD Awards, and the Online Business of the Year Award at the Scottish Women Awards.
These mark the latest award nominations for Ms Mackenzie, as she was awarded the Medium Business of the Year Award at the Scottish IoD awards earlier in the year, as well as winning the overall Business Woman of the Year Award at the Highland Businesswomen Awards ceremony in March.
Speaking about being shortlisted, Ms Mackenzie said:
“The past 18 months has been a period of substantial growth for TEFL Org UK. With customer numbers increasing by 66% and a 28% growth in revenue in the last financial year, TEFL Org UK is a business ready and looking to scale up. This success has been recognised by awards in digital ecommerce at the Herald Scottish Business Awards by the fantastic team we have here.
“For me personally, winning the IoD Scotland award was an amazing achievement and something I never imagined would happen almost nine years ago when I was sitting in our garden shed trying to get IT systems to work and make our first sales! Now leading the launch of our courses in the USA, it’s like starting again with all the excitement of being a ‘start-up’ again ahead of us. Just this time we have a lot more knowledge, know-how, experience and a great team to help me!”
These award nominations are the latest recognition for Ms Mackenzie and TEFL Org UK as we continue to establish ourselves as the UK’s leading TEFL course provider and expand internationally with ventures in China and the United States.
The IoD Awards take place at the London Lancaster Hotel in London on the 22nd of September, while the Scottish Women Awards take place at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Glasgow on the 30th of August.
We wish Jennifer the best of luck and hope she can continue her successful, award-winning year!
